IOP Publishing Quantum Early Career Award Launches Call for Entries; Professor Lu Chaoyang to Chair Award Committee

Following the success of the international online seminar "Quantum 2022", IOP Publishing (IOPP) invites nominations from early career researchers in the field of quantum science and technology. Two prestigious international awards will recognize scientific excellence and help support scientists at two stages of their careers.

The first, the "International Early Career Scientist Award in Quantum Technology," recognizes scientists within eight years of completing their PhD - £2,000 plus a certificate.

The second, the International Emerging Researcher Award in Quantum Technology, recognises scientists within three years of completing their PhD - £1,000 plus a certificate.

The winner will have demonstrated significant achievement and exceptional promise in the field of quantum science and technology and has the potential to have a long-term impact on the field and the research community. In addition to the prize money, both winners will be invited to give a special awards lecture on World Quantum Day (April 14, 2023) and submit an opinion piece to Quantum Science and Technology related to their recognized research work.
