U.S. company introduces world's first entanglement-based full-stack quantum network solution
On October 25, Aliro Quantum, a US-based quantum networking company, announced the launch of AliroNet [1] - the world's first full-stack end-to-end, entanglement-based quantum networking solution. This unified solution is used to simulate entanglement-based quantum networks, implement small-scale pilots, and deploy full-scale universal entanglement-based quantum networks.

01The first entanglement-based full-stack quantum network solution: four software services
AliroNet users include utilities, telecom providers, public sector organizations, businesses and researchers who are simulating, designing, experimenting with and building the world's first entanglement-based quantum networks. These general purpose entanglement-based quantum networks coexist with classical networks and are being used to enable unbreakable secure communications, interconnections for scaling quantum computing, and distributed quantum sensor networks.
In this regard, Dr. Prineha Narang, founder and CTO of Aliro, said [2], "Aliro continues to gain increasing support across a range of organizations.AliroNet will simplify the ability to simulate, design, test, and deploy quantum networks for secure communication implementation, quantum computing connectivity, and distributed quantum sensing. "
AliroNet is hardware vendor independent and is licensed in three modes of operation: these three modes of operation are consistent with the true quantum network rollout phase. Each operating mode includes Aliro technical support services, with the option to purchase additional services if necessary.AliroNet is offered as software services, including Aliro Simulator, Aliro Orchestrator, Aliro Controller, and AlirOS.

AliroNet™ is a unified solution to simulate entanglement-based quantum networks in three different modes, implement small-scale pilots, and deploy full-scale generic entanglement-based quantum networks.
1) Simulation mode: for simulating, designing and verifying quantum networks
Before building a quantum network of any scale, first determine the quantum network plan, goals, budget and risks. Then the design (e.g., selection and optimization of hardware, configuration, protocols, etc.) AliroNet™ Simulation Mode includes the world's leading quantum network simulation software package, Aliro Simulator, and a suite of services to ensure that users meet and exceed their evaluation, simulation and design requirements.
2) Experimental mode: for implementing a small-scale quantum network testbed
The next step is to build a small-scale quantum network for testing and optimizing performance and gaining familiarity with the technology from within. The AliroNet™ pilot model includes everything in the simulation model, plus AlirOS (on-device software that facilitates quantum network protocols) and Aliro Controller (centralized software that manages and runs the entire network), plus a set of services to ensure that users meet and exceed their pilot goals.
3) Deployment model: for implementing a full-scale quantum network
In this model, AliroNetTM software and services scale the pilot quantum network to a full-scale quantum network capable of running the applications required by the organization. As technology improves and enterprise needs change, organizations will likely want to upgrade and expand their networks. The deployment model includes services to help continue to upgrade and extend the deployed network, as well as network management and maintenance support.
The deployment model can also be used for pure orchestration configurations, which can be used to configure, control and manage third-party control software running on third-party hardware components.
03Pricing $100,000+ for sites, data centers, clouds ......
Pricing for AliroNet starts at $100,000; use cases include unbreakable secure connections between sites, campuses, branch offices, data centers, and clouds AliroNet is able to operate with traditional classical networks and existing fiber optic facilities, meaning it does not require an upgrade to implement entanglement-based quantum networks.
AliroNet enables the interconnection of quantum computers located at a single location or at a larger geographic location. This use case will allow quantum computing to scale more rapidly in performance to solve some of the world's most complex and difficult problems without relying on or waiting for the performance of a single quantum processor to scale.
AliroNet can interconnect multiple geographically dispersed quantum sensors with each other and with centralized processing, storage and analysis systems. This enables advanced use cases for energy, utility, geographic, astrophysical and environmental measurements, analysis and correlation.
