Master of open quantum technology in Europe

Open master of quantum technology (qtom) project (link: https://qtom.qtedu.eu/ )It provides an opportunity for European postgraduates to improve their knowledge of quantum technology. The project has been supported by more than 30 top academic institutions in Europe and around the world.

Qtom is the EU quantum Flagship Program (link: https://qt.eu/ )A pilot project in which students can obtain ects (European credit transfer system) credits at the graduate level through a wide range of learning opportunities, distance courses and research projects.

The project will be officially launched to the public at 16:00 on Monday, December 6, 2021 (Central European time) / 23:00 Beijing time. Invite all interested groups to participate. Visit( https://qtom.qtedu.eu/launch-event/ )Learn more about online events and registration links.

The qtom project aims to provide master students all over Europe with a way to learn various and important fields of quantum technology, and gain valuable research experience from experts in various fields. Students, faculty and staff can participate in the project.

These courses are flexible, including shared lecture courses, seminars and activities, as well as guest lectures provided by the institutional network. An extensive internship program will also begin in January 2022, allowing students to have remote and personal (with financial support) access to cutting-edge quantum technology research.

One feature of qtom is that it focuses on students' achievements. The cooperative organization has arranged ects certification for the projects and courses undertaken by qtom, so students can incorporate learning and research modules into their master's courses, including their thesis projects.

In addition, the pilot project is piloting the European quantum technology capability framework.
