America panicked! China Quantum Technology Corporation was included in the "entity list" for the first time

Today, the Bureau of industry and security of the U.S. Department of Commerce included 27 foreign entities and individuals in the "entity list", which are located in China, Japan, Pakistan and Singapore. Among them, 12 entities are from China, and two entities from Japan and Singapore are also branches of Jiazhao technology, a Chinese enterprise. The list of entities means that the United States will impose an embargo on these entities.

The 12 Chinese entities are as follows:
● Jiazhao Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd
● Hangzhou Zhongke Microelectronics Co., Ltd
● Hefei National Research Center for microscale material science
● Guoke Microelectronics Co., Ltd
● xinhuasan Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd
● Fengtai Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong)
● poly Asia Pacific Industrial Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong)
QuantumCTek Technology Co., Ltd
● Shaanxi Zhien Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd
● Shanghai QuantumCTek
  Information Technology Co., Ltd
● Xi'an Aerospace Huaxun Technology Co., Ltd
● Suzhou Yunxin Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd

This is the first time that the U.S. Department of Commerce has added Chinese quantum technology entities to the "blacklist", including a National Laboratory (Hefei National Research Center for micro scale material science) and two companies (GuoDun quantum and its Shanghai subsidiary).

This not only shows that quantum technology is a practical technology, but also shows that China's quantum technology is booming.

The U.S. Department of Commerce said: "strive to prevent emerging U.S. technologies from being used in quantum computing that China supports military applications, such as anti stealth and anti submarine applications, breaking encryption or developing unbreakable encryption technologies."

As early as 2019, the United States included Jiazhao technology headquartered in Hong Kong in the entity list, and this time included three branches including Shenzhen. Hefei National Research Center for micro scale material science and 10 other companies were included in the entity list for the first time.

Among them, the reason for the five chip companies of Zhongke micro, Guoke micro, Xinhua III, aerospace Huaxun and Yunxin micro is to "support the military modernization of the Chinese people's Liberation Army". Fengtai company, poly Asia Pacific, Zhien Electromechanical, on the grounds of "trade with Pakistan".

Hefei National Research Center for micro scale material science, QuantumCTek quantum and its Shanghai subsidiary, as leading quantum science and technology research institutions and companies in China, are still embargoed for supporting China's military applications. The United States believes that quantum technology has great potential in military applications, especially quantum computing.

The document of the U.S. Department of commerce did not give specific reasons, but kharon, an American consulting company, said that QuantumCTek  quantum has obtained chips, power modules and other components from American and Western companies through Chinese intermediaries in recent years. He also said that Shandong quantum science and Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of QuantumCTek , has a number of licenses to carry out China's military research and production activities.

In addition, the joint venture between QuantumCTek and a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and industry group to establish Wuhan Aerospace Sanjiang Quantum Communication Co., Ltd. and China Telecom Quantum Technology Co., Ltd. are regarded by kharon as the reasons for the United States to include QuantumCTek in the entity list.

Hefei National Research Center for micro scale material science is included in the list of entities. Kharon believes that most of CAS and China Science and technology hold shares of QuantumCTek , and the research center is located in China University of science and technology. In addition, two of the authors of "Zu chong-2" are from Henan Key Laboratory of quantum information and quantum cryptography, which relies on the PLA University of information engineering.
